Quantity Surveying and Commercial

NES Track clients regularly request both contract and permanent Quantity Surveyors and Commercial personnel for assignments throughout the UK and overseas.

If you have skills and experience of the following, then we are eager to hear from you now:

  • Development of cost plans
  • Production of tender documentation, valuations and service plans
  • Advising at public enquiries
  • Commercial management of risk
  • Support pre-contract activity
  • Provide specialist commercial advice, guidance and recommendations to mitigate commercial risks

Ideally candidates will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, be a member of RICS (or working towards it). Commercial managers will generally be expected to have come from a quantity surveying background, have experience in managing investment projects, a good understanding of railway and construction industry forms of contract, as well as possessing good negotiation skills.

Our clients are always willing to consider Quantity Surveyors and Commercial personnel from outside of the rail industry, so if you have the necessary skills but perhaps lack direct rail experience, we'd still be interested in hearing from you. In the first instance, take a look through the rest of the web site and find out more about NES and NES Track, browse through the current opportunities available, or contact your nearest recruitment office.

If you are a technical / engineering professional looking to come and work in the UK, then please view our Global Candidate Pipeline (GCP) page HERE for more information.
