NES Track is regularly managing recruitment campaigns for permanent way personnel for contact and permanent assignments throughout the UK. Applicants are generally responsible for producing track and engineering drawings of permanent way schemes, including track realignments, platform extensions, pway condition surveys, detailed switch and crossing drawings and track drainage. Dependent on the level of seniority of the position, most candidates will have hands-on experience of permanent way design and/or engineering, in both S&C and Plain Line, using a variety of software packages such as CAD, Microstation and MX Rail/In Rail.
