In this role as Senior Engineer, Bridges and Structures you will undertake any work of a technical nature that falls within the Jobholder�s ability and competence, work within a project team to achieve the project objectives and supervise the work of junior staff

The key results areas for this role will include the delivery of designs in accordance with the Client�s requirements and appropriate design standards using cost effective methods of analysis and design. You will also assist in the development of innovative ways of providing design services and supervising the work of other less experienced staff.

Essential Qualifications: BEng, MEng or equivalent CEng MICE or MIStructE or working towards either with additional experience in lieu
PTS or other track safety qualifications desirable
Significant relevant experience in the design and assessment of bridges plus a good knowledge of civil engineering practice.
Previous experience in the rail industry and knowledge of railways standards is desirable.
The Jobholder should be computer literate and conversant with MS Office suite and with structural analysis software (the company uses SuperSTRESS, ASAS and Archie).
The Jobholder should also be familiar with production of drawings using AutoCAD.
