Principle Engineer required for one of the leading support services providers, servicing the life-cycle of transport infrastructure from feasibility through to planning, design and operational management. Acting as the Principle Engineer you will support the Design Manager in the delivery of all technical aspects of projects.

Your role will be the establishment of internal design standards and/or processes to achieve a continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. Delivery of designs in accordance with the Client�s requirements and appropriate design standards using cost effective methods of analysis and design. Assist in the development of innovative ways of providing design services and supervising the work of other less experienced staff and act as Contractor�s Responsible Engineer and Contractor�s Engineering Manager when required to do so.
Rail experience is essential and a working knowledge of railways standards is essential in particular the design and construction of repairs, refurbishment or replacement of stations and other rail structures in an operational railway environment. You will need to Your qualifications should include MEng, BEng or equivalent CEng MICE or MIStructE.
You should be computer literate and thoroughly conversant with MS Office suite and experienced in the use of structural analysis software (Super STRESS, ASAS and Archie) and Project Management software (P3, Suretrack or MS Project).
