Due to the opening of a new regional office an opportunity has become available for a Managing Quantity Surveyor. The client is a medium sized dedicated rail business with experience covering survey, design, project management, implementation and testing & commissioning on a range of complex multi-discipline projects up to the value of �5,000,000.

Based from the Rugby office and reporting to the Commercial Manager you will need a good commercial awareness along with experience of working on rail projects preferably within E&P. Key tasks will include all general surveying duties including valuations, variations, claims, sub-contractor payments, CVR�s, project cash flow and final accounts along with the responsibility of assisting with the recruitment of a new team and the management and motivation of the team.
