Lead Civil Design Engineer - Rail Projects, based North Yorkshire, Salary to �50K plus package.

This major global engineering consultancy urgently seeks applications for the role of Lead Civil Design Engineer.

Their North Yorkshire based office is currently expanding its railway engineering skills base to enable multifunctional design of railway projects.

Job Description

You will be an ambitious and talented Engineer required to focus on developing and leading major rail projects.

The post holder will be responsible for:

Leading and administering a range of civil engineering and development commissions, ranging from inspection and assessment work to feasibility studies.
Risk and commercial management of projects.
Keeping abreast of market trends and changes and potential opportunities, and utilising your commercial awareness to create exciting new concepts.
Mentoring and support of graduates, and supervision of CAD resource.

Candidate Specification

The successful candidate will be degree educated in Civil engineering or equivalent. Extensive Civil design experience,
combined with experience of working within the rail sector is essential.

Candidates should have current working experience of Network Rail Group standards.

and a strong pipeline of work that will require the post holder to take a lead on.
