Our clients are a large rail organisation, who are looking to recruit a Project Commissioning Engineer at their offices in Central London. The ERTMS Programme is the team that is revolutionising Britain's Railway's through the development and implementation of advance radio based train control and signalling systems. The Project Commissioning Engineer will lead the monitoring of the projects in the delegated portfolio in compliance with signalling testing and commissioning standards and procedures. Managing the signalling systems so that they are safely accepted in to service. Act on behalf of the Territory Signal Engineer using delegated authority as required to approve testing and commissioning strategies, stages, plans and schedules for project testing and commissioning activities.

Attend GRIP 1 to 4 stage gate reviews to monitor that commissioning activities are adequately covered to the satisfaction of the sponsor. Monitor compliance against national signalling assurance standards. Monitor so that all project approvals and processes are in place and certificated prior to commissioning or deviations from standards are certificated appropriately.
