An International Water Technologies Company that provides customized water treatment solutions to municipalities, businesses, industries, and institutions worldwide is looking for an Engineering Manager.

1. Manage the Engineering team, including assigning of appropriate engineering support to projects during the design and engineering phase to produce required documents for execution of the works.
2. Co-ordinate closely with the Applications and Project Execution Departments to ensure accurate and correct engineering documentation is prepared in a timely manner to meet requirements and schedule of an ongoing project.
3. Ensure engineering issues are validated during project execution to ensure completeness and accuracy of all engineering documents by review and approval process.
4. Formulate and enforce procedures, guidelines and good working practices for consistency and accuracy in preparation of engineering documents, including adoption of corporate forms and policies in reporting to a senior management level.
5. Determine and manage department resources to meet the requirements of projects.
6. Ensure adequate training is provided to ensure constant improvement of the engineering group capabilities.
7. Implement standardised engineering practices to maximise departmental efficiency.
8. Review engineering content of technology transfer activities to ensure accurate translation to relevant engineering practices in Singapore office.
9. Liaise with regional business units in South East Asia to ensure a common approach to engineering activities directed by Singapore HUB.
10. Provide engineering man-hour estimates to the Applications Department for cost estimating purposes.
11. Create engineering deliverables content lists for each new project and determine anticipated schedule for completion of various engineering activities for the project.
12. Attend project handover/kick-off and review meetings to monitor the ongoing involvement of engineering personnel on project execution work.
13. Degree in Engineering.
14. At least 5 - 8 years experience in engineering and engineering team management within a process equipment supply company.
15. Able to handle several projects simultaneously.
16. Proficient in MS application.
17. Excellent oral and communication skills.
