Our clients are a large rail organisation, who are looking to recruit a Lineside Access Manager at their offices in Central London. You will be responsible for ensuring suitable access to the railway for West Coast contractors is provided by acquiring new rights, advising on existing rights and resolving any disputed rights. Manage and co-ordinate all requirements for access to the railway required to meet our clients work programmes. Prioritise requirements and determine best approach for dealing with and meeting specific project budgetary and timescale requirements. Negotiate commercial terms for new or altered access rights with landowners. Prepare heads of terms for licence, lease and easement agreements. Instruct and manage external agents and solicitors, as required, to complete agreements.

Essential
Considerable knowledge and experience of railway infrastructure and operation.
Sound knowledge of property law and rights.
Familiarity with Network Rail data and mapping services, including Excel, Access and Microstation skills.
High level of commercial awareness, communication and negotiation skills.
