Our clients are a Structural Engineering organisation, who are looking to recruit a HSQE Manager at their offices in Southampton. To be a core team member within the Operational Property Framework (OPF) to provide the management of Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality matters. To monitor and audit the Core Team and sites for compliance with safety, environmental and quality procedures.

Experience and Skills Required

Experience in safety management within civil engineering & building
Experience as a Safety Manager in Rail environment on construction work (LUL does not count)
Suitably based to work in Waterloo, London
PTS holder
Able to manage safety from conception through development, design, construction and handback
Experienced in safety management of sites with values 50k to 2m typically
Minimum NEBOSH qualification - ideally both environmental and quality accreditation
Experienced in safety management of multiple subcontractor sites
Experienced in working with clients and consultants
Able to brief individuals or groups of people
Commercially aware knows and manages the cost of safety
Able to programme and plan resources
Team player and self-motivating
Computer literate in Word, Excel & Outlook
Understanding of the key factors to produce successful contracts in both safety, environmental quality and technical and financial terms.
