Our clients are a Structural Engineering organisation, who are looking to recruit 2 x Site Managers at their offices in Southampton. They are looking for someone to manage the delivery of scope of works on individual stations within Southern Regions. The scopes of works have been identified as part of planned maintenance program. The works include Platform repairs, canopy replacements, drainage, re-new M&E install. Repairs to footbridges. Painting.

Skills and experience required

Experience in civil engineering & building
Experience as Site Manager in Rail environment on construction work
Suitably based to work from South coast to north London Swindon across including all Kent or East Anglia.
PTS holder
Able to safely and profitably manage sites from handover to handback
Experienced in managing sites with values 50 thousand to 2 million typically
Minimum HNC / HND / Degree qualifications
Experienced in managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously
Experienced in working with clients and consultants
Knowledge of ICE & ECC Forms of Contract is an advantage
Safety aware
Able to write Method Statements / Work Package plans and carry out Risk Assessments
Able to brief gangs and put people to work
Able to personally carry out Tool Box Talks
Commercially aware knows how to make money and avoid waste
Able to programme and plan but not necessarily on computer
Computer literate in Word, Excel & Outlook and preferably a planning package
